IQ Analytics · Import inventory

Bring your inventory counts into focus.

Upload an item-level count with theoretical and actual quantities, confirm it against your report, and see where the dollars are.

Guided import betaManual column confirmation. Report layouts vary by system and edition, so vendor-specific layouts are awaiting real-export verification. No automatic connection.

Only the mapped columns are saved after you confirm. Original files are not stored. A variance is a difference between what the system expected and what was counted; it is a prompt to investigate, not a finding about any person. File preview happens in this browser.

One location. One count.

Actual vs theoretical (AvT) or inventory variance report. Export the variance report with item, theoretical quantity, actual (counted) quantity and unit cost.

One location and one count date. One row per item, with theoretical and actual quantities in the SAME unit of measure and a unit cost. Do not upload vendor invoices or transaction detail. USD only. Typical headings: Item, Unit, Theoretical, Actual, Unit Cost.

Use exactly the same location name as your sales import so the dashboard can line them up.

Up to 2 MB and 2,000 items per import. For an Excel workbook containing formulas, export a values-only CSV.
